We registered at Province of British Columbia (# S-40067, Canada Customs and Revenue # 86470-1529-RT0001) in 1999. We have a group of environment concerned Taiwanese and Chinese Canadian dedicated to promote cross-cultural understanding of the unique eco-systems and cultures among Taiwan, Asia and Canada, and to educate the public about the importance of conservation and bio-diversity.

We have 1~2 eco-tour programs, 5~7 healthy life programs, 5~7 guided nature walk programs, and over 20 community healthy walks every month to advance a healthy way of living our daily life, provide guidance to appreciate the natural history, present opportunities to learn how to decrease human disturbances and impacts, and encourage active participation in community environmental protection.

In 2007, We organized 17 eco-tours, 86 nature guided walks, 95 cultural appreciation programs and 259 community healthy walks with 6,670 peoples. We have over 350 active family members including 46 life members living all over the Greater Vancouver area (half of them in City of Vancouver). Around 75 % family members came from Taiwan, 15% family members from Hong Kong, and 10% family members from China. Most of them came to the Greater Vancouver area in recent 15 years. Most of our students are adults in our community, and some young students on weekends and summer vocation.

We are one of the most active Canadian educational organizations on environment and healthy life in the Greater Vancouver area and Canada. We were accredited to World Summit on Ecotourism in Montrel (2002), World Summit on Sustainable Development in Johannesburg (2002), United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 11) in Montrel (2005), and UN World Urban Forum in Vancouver (2006).
